Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Lead for a fast-paced construction and industrial distribution operation in Dublin. The role involves hands-on leadership of the warehouse team, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, and maintaining stock control.

You will coordinate daily warehouse activities, work closely with Sales, Operations and Transport, and drive continuous improvement in processes while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily planning of warehouse activities, including deliveries and orders.
• Prioritise orders for picking and dispatch to meet deadlines.
• Monitor activity and ensure work is performed efficiently and to standard.
• Provide direction and support to warehouse staff throughout the day.
• Maintain timekeeping, shift start/end procedures and productivity.
• Assist with stock checks, yard duties and warehouse duties.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate where needed.
• Support busy periods with hands-on involvement as required.
• Manage stock movement and ensure accurate goods in/out processes.
• Communicate delays or shortages to relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to weekly operations meetings with updates and suggestions.
