Fyffes in Balbriggan is seeking a Warehouse Line Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and ensure efficient intake, loading/unloading, and timely delivery of fruit to production and sales orders. The role requires strong leadership, organisational ability, and a hands-on approach.

The ideal candidate will have SAP experience, good English, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of warehouse operatives to manage intake of fruit and consumables, loading/unloading and timely delivery to production and customer orders.
• Set targets and supervise the staff.
• Direct and organise the accurate loading/unloading of vehicles and ensure correct documentation, cargo and temperature regime.
• Collaborate with Ripening and Quality teams to maintain service levels.
• Collaborate with Quality in handling box quality, fruit rejections, waste disposal and support.
• Manage, check and control production systems to ensure compliance with customer and business requirements.
• Process orders and create dockets on varied operational systems.
• Collate orders and distribute to necessary team members.
• Keep working area tidy and compliant with H&S regulations.
• Ensure products are scanned and labelled correctly prior to dispatch.

Job description

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Line Leader to join our team in Balbriggan. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence to play a key role in supporting the efficient day‑to‑day running of our warehouse operations.

Shifts

5:00am to 5:00pm, 3 days in 4 days off in one week, and 4 days in 3 days off in the second week. (Average 37.5h per week) 2 week shift pattern

Salary

€34,500-€36,000 per Annum

Work Location

In person- Fyffes Ripening & Distribution Centre, Balbriggan, Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of warehouse operatives to manage the intake of fruit and consumables, loading and unloading of ripening rooms, and a timely efficient delivery of fruit to production and customer sales orders.
• To set targets and work alongside / supervise the staff
• Direct and organise the accurate & productive loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure vehicles leave with the correct documentation, cargo and temperature regime
• Collaborate with Ripening and Quality teams to ensure good fruit delivery service levels.
• Collaborate with Quality in dealing with box quality, fruit rejections, waste disposal and support
• Manage, Check and control production systems to ensure compliance with customer and business requirements
• Order Processing and docket creation on varied operational systems
• Order collation and distribution to necessary team members
• Ensure that the working area is kept tidy and complies with H&S regulations
• Ensure that all products are accurately scanned and labelled correctly prior to dispatch
