Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Store Operative to support inventory management and safe, efficient warehouse operations. You will receive, inspect, store, pick and deliver stock while upholding health and safety standards.

The role reports to the Store Supervisor and involves stock checks, allocation of materials, and collaboration with internal customers to meet business needs. A clean driving licence and forklift familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in an operations stores/warehouse environment.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• IT literacy including data entry and ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift familiarity; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to policies and internal controls.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Attend safety training such as Safe Pass.
• Record site matters including incidents.
• Prepare and pick/assemble work orders.
• Manage stock levels and deliveries.
• Support with stock takes.
• Collaborate with internal customers.
• Operate machinery and work independently.
• Follow Information Security policies.
