Job summary

Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a warehouse operative to ensure stock accuracy, pick and pack orders for next-day dispatch, and perform regular cycle counts.

You will operate a range of warehouse machinery, check orders, manage goods in, and maintain a clean, safe workplace. The role requires observant attention, strong numerical skills, and a forklift licence (reach truck).

Qualifications

• Observant with good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a service environment.
• Forklift licence for reach truck is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Warehouse machinery to pick orders ready for dispatch.
• Accurate order checking, picking, packing and dispatch of goods as per procedure and instructions.
• Goods inwards, checking, sorting and put-away of products received.
• General housekeeping to ensure stock is stored in a safe and clean environment.
• Storage bin consolidation, stock taking and regular cycle counting.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, assisting with issues and queries.
• Complete all documentation accurately and ensure tasks comply with procedures, SOPs and EHS requirements.
• Participate in Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
