Job summary

Howdens Joinery (Ireland) Ltd is seeking a warehouse operative to support unloading deliveries, stock checks, and efficient warehouse operations at our depot. You will operate forklift equipment, conduct daily checks, and ensure stock integrity for dispatch.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse while delivering professional service to trade customers.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable and health and safety knowledge.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management skills.
• Customer-focused with friendly, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with safety standards.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch with accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and efficient with stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a professional service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Work closely with depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
