Job summary

PVC Fabrications Ltd. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Briar Hill, Waterfall, Cork. This permanent, full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

You will handle picking, packing, loading, forklift operation and dispatch paperwork, contributing to accurate and timely customer deliveries while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• Essential licences and certifications for safe warehouse operation.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with no weekend shifts.
• Good health and safety attitude and reliable attendance.
• Basic computer skills to complete dispatch paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely.
• Using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Completing dispatch paperwork using computer software.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory.
• Keeping the warehouse organised, clean and safe.
• Working with the team to ensure timely deliveries.

PVC Fabrications Ltd. is expanding, and we're looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse / General Operatives to join our team in Briar Hill, Waterfall, Cork.

This is a permanent Monday–Friday position with no weekend work, an early finish every Friday, a twice-yearly performance bonus and opportunities for additional training.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied, hands-on warehouse role where you'll play an important part in making sure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.

• Following all company health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in.

Essential

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Full B Driving Licence.
• Good attitude towards health and safety.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Desirable – but not essential

• Manual Handling Certificate.
• Power Pallet Truck Licence.
• Previous warehouse or dispatch experience.
• Experience using Sage50.

Don't have all of the desirable certificates or previous warehouse experience? That's okay. We're interested in finding the right people with a good attitude and willingness to learn.

We know that having your evenings and weekends free matters.

That's why this is a straightforward Monday–Friday role with no weekend shifts.

Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am–4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: OFF
