Elwood Roberts is partnering with a leading data center business to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a 6-month contract in Dublin 15. You will join a fast-paced logistics hub focused on accurate picking, packing and timely dispatch.

The role requires 1–2 years warehouse experience, familiarity with scanning systems and WMS, ability to lift up to 23 kg, and a strong safety mindset. Solid English communication and a reliable work ethic are essential.

• Strong familiarity with scanning systems, inventory workflows, or pick/pack operations.

Responsabilités

• Sort, scan, and route incoming freight to meet dispatch windows.
• Use handheld scanners and WMS to track inventory and shipments.
• Move and stack packages up to 23 kg safely.
• Operate material handling equipment or assist yard coordination as qualified.
• Identify bottlenecks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Job: Warehouse Operative – Data Center Sector

Location: Dublin 15

Type: 6 Month contract

We are working closely with one of the worlds largest Data Centre businesses and are looking to expand our Warehousing team. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented people to join our fast-paced logistics hub. If you have a proven track record in warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain logistics, we are keen to arrange a call to discuss the role.

Key Responsibilities

• As an member of our team, you will help optimize our delivery network and maintain high operational standards. Some of your daily tasks will include:
• Sorting, scanning, and routing incoming freight efficiently to meet strict dispatch windows.
• Utilizing handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and internal tracking software.
• Safely moving, lifting, and stacking packages weighing up to 23kg.
• Operating material handling equipment or assist with yard coordination (based on your existing qualifications).
• Identifying process bottlenecks and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
• Skills: Strong familiarity with scanning systems, inventory workflows, or pick/pack operations.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 23kg.
• Mindset: A strong safety focus, solid English communication skills, and a reliable work ethic.
