Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to join the Accounting Services team in Dublin. You will oversee high‑quality accounting and reporting for private equity and alternative investments, developing talent, strengthening controls, and driving operational excellence.

You will lead a team through the fund lifecycle, coordinate with auditors, and implement process improvements with automation to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and professional qualification preferred.
• Significant fund accounting experience in PE/alternative investments.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering fund and client accounting for private equity and alternatives.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, NAV packages, capital statements, and other deliverables.
• Manage fund lifecycle activities: capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, fees, and carried interest.
