Job summary

BNY Mellon in Dublin seeks a Vice President, Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Services team. You will oversee delivery of fund accounting and reporting for private equity and alt investment structures, develop talent, and drive controls and operational excellence.

You will manage capital calls, distributions, carried interest calculations, and complex fund structures, partner with auditors and clients, and push for automation and AI-enabled reporting to enhance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) preferred.
Significant experience in fund accounting, private equity fund administration, or client accounting.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team delivering fund and client accounting services for private equity and alternative investment structures.
Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, NAV reporting, capital statements, and other fund deliverables.
Manage accounting activity across the private equity fund lifecycle: capital calls, distributions, investment activity, expense accruals, management fees, carried interest.
