Job summary

The Panel in Dublin is seeking a VP/Director of Network & Connectivity Services to own the network strategy across a large-scale technology environment. You will govern MSP relationships and lead a shift toward automated, intelligent networks using SDN, cloud connectivity and AIOps while preserving security and resilience.

Director / VP of Group Network Services

Dublin (Hybrid)

The Panel is partnering with a large, regulated organisation to appoint a VP/Director of Network & Connectivity Services, a senior leadership role owning the network backbone and an opportunity to shape and modernise the network strategy across a large-scale, complex technology environment.

You will own the network and connectivity strategy end to end, govern the relationship with the key Managed Network Service Provider, and lead the shift to a more automated, intelligent network through SDN, network automation, Zero Trust, cloud connectivity and AIOps, all while keeping services secure, resilient and recoverable.

Experience . . .

• Over 15 years and a deep knowledge of network engineering, telecommunications and infrastructure services
• 5+ years at senior leadership level, leading large technical teams and complex transformation
• Proven experience governing a managed service provider (commercial, contractual and performance)
• A track record delivering emerging tech (SDN, automation, cloud connectivity, AIOps, IaC) with real results
