Job summary

The Panel is seeking a senior IT leader in Ireland to own and transform its infrastructure and network estate. You will take end-to-end ownership, set the roadmap, and guide engineering teams and partners through a major modernization initiative.

With 15+ years in infrastructure, network, and cloud, and 10+ years in senior technology leadership, you will drive strategic delivery across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, ensuring resilience and performance across critical services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years across infrastructure, network and cloud in large-scale or regulated environments.
• 10+ years in senior technology leadership with large technical teams and major transformation programmes.
• Proven track record building and executing infrastructure strategy and roadmaps.
• Genuine depth in WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, data centre and cloud networking, SDN.

Responsibilities

• Own the full estate end to end: cloud, on-premises and hybrid across compute, storage, network and connectivity.
• Set and drive the transformation strategy: simplification, automation and Infrastructure as Code, AI Operations, observability and predictive resilience.
• Lead a high-calibre team of internal specialists alongside strategic managed service partners.
• Be accountable for the resilience, performance and availability of critical infrastructure and network services.

• Be accountable for the resilience, performance and availability of critical infrastructure and network services.

Experience includes . .

• 15+ years across infrastructure, network and cloud, gained in large-scale, complex or regulated environments.
• 10+ years in senior technology leadership, running large technical teams and major transformation programmes.
• A proven track record building and executing infrastructure strategy, setting the roadmaps - not just running operations.
• Genuine networking and connectivity depth: WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, data centre and cloud networking, and SDN.
• Strong commercial and contractual governance of strategic vendors and managed service partners.
