Job summary

EXL with a global footprint seeks a Vice President of Sales for Retail, Energy & Utilities to lead front-end growth and win strategic client engagements. You will guide end-to-end deal lifecycle, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and drive revenue growth across priority sectors.

You will build trusted CXO relationships, manage multi-stakeholder deals, and shape high-impact, integrated solutions leveraging Data, Digital, and AI capabilities to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in senior sales/leadership roles.
• Experience with Retail, Energy and Utilities sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Growth & Business Development (Named Accounts) across strategic accounts to expand footprint.
• New Logo Acquisition & Market Growth—originate, shape, and close large, complex deals with Data, Digital & AI solutions.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closure with strong pipeline creation.
• Deliver account growth through upsell and cross-sell of Data & AI-led solutions.
• Build CXO relationships and engage CIOs/CTOs with compelling articulation of capabilities.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated Data, Analytics, AI, Digital and Operations solutions.
• Develop and manage a high-quality pipeline with disciplined execution and predictable revenue realization.
• Drive revenue, pipeline, and profitability with robust account governance.
