Job summary

Unum Ireland seeks an AVP, Data & AI Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of data and AI products, analytics platforms, and governance frameworks. You will shape roadmaps, drive platform modernisation, and ensure secure, compliant delivery while building and mentoring a high-performing team across data, AI and innovation.

You will partner with business and technology leaders to deliver measurable business value and align with Unum's global data strategy in a complex, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience in Data, Analytics, AI, or Technology, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering complex data products and AI solutions from strategy to production.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms and enterprise BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data and AI initiatives across Unum Ireland.
• Define priorities, shape technology roadmaps, and ensure secure, efficient delivery.
• Establish governance frameworks and performance measures across the portfolio.
• Partner with business leaders and engineers to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Data, AI & Innovation team.
