Blackstone Asset Based Finance – Asset Operations Vice President in Ireland oversees end‑to‑end operational support for private client mandates, including trade capture, settlement, cash and asset reconciliation, and full life‑cycle asset servicing. The role interfaces with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in structured products or middle office role.
• Strong knowledge of security operations across Loans and Fixed Income products.
• Robust understanding of asset life cycle activities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment and handle multiple projects.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a consistently positive attitude.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams on technical issues.
• Knowledge of Advent Geneva, Bloomberg would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture and maintain all life‑cycle transactions and borrowings in internal systems.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve position or transaction related inquiries.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve breaks between internal systems and trustees/custodians.
• Monitor the private deal pipeline to ensure operational readiness and timely bookings.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive support to both external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the setting up of new assets and structures within the private loan space.
• Ad Hoc reporting.
