Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Detail Engineer, Voice & Video, in a hybrid role (home and office) to lead detailed equipment engineering for network build initiatives across multiple networks. You will manage multiple projects through lifecycle, resolving technical issues as they arise.

You will interface with Centre Engineering, Field Engineering, Operations and other teams to gather data, validate installations, and update engineering documentation to support upgrade and reconfiguration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable excellent problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed installation instructions (I-SPECs) per standards.
• Ensure instructions include equipment configurations, power sizing, and BOM details.
• Prepare Pre-Engineering/Site Survey docs and Front Door Requests.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, financial, planning and operations standards.
• Coordinate with Centre/Field Engineering and Operations for data and redlines.
• Provide technical guidance on FOA projects and installations.
