Job summary

Murphy Home in Sandyford, Dublin area seeks a Visual Merchandiser to help create customers' first impression with compelling store displays. You will implement visual standards, design layouts, and add unique flair across our furniture and accessories.

The role is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in visual merchandising or related qualification, with strong communication and customer service skills. €14.15/hour plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year visual merchandising experience or related qualification.
• Experience in interiors desirable.
• Ability to work independently with strong work ethic and professional presentation.
• Excellent listening and communication skills and solid customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store by coordinating furniture and accessory placement.
• Lead flow of furniture and accessories to sales areas with Store Manager and VM Manager.
• Organise, supervise, and check products in all store sections.
• Be creative and imaginative in execution of Visual Merchandising.
• Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner.
• Produce quality work in a timely, organized manner.
• Update store with new products and seasonal changes.
• Adjust lighting throughout showroom displays.
• Assist with special events and promotions.
• Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct periodic inventories.
• Develop and implement in-store displays and visuals.
• Coordinate with VM Manager to refresh store design ideas.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store by coordinating furniture and accessory placement in accordance with our standards, organize and implement floor moves

• Partner with the Store Manager and VM Manager to lead the flow of furniture and accessory products to the sales areas.

• Organizing, supervising, and checking the product in every section of the store

• Be creative, innovative, and imaginative through execution of Visual Merchandising

• Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner

• Produce quality work in a consistent, timely, and organized manner

• Update/maintain store as directed by new product introduction and seasonal changes

• Adjust lighting as needed throughout showroom display

• Assist with special events and promotions

• Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct periodic physical inventories of furniture and accessories.

• Develop, create, and implement in-store displays and other store visuals.

• Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to produce creative and artistic in-store displays. Constantly conceptualize new and refresh store design ideas.

• Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment by creating an inviting and visually appealing environment for our customers.

• Install seasonal and promotional POS

• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years visual merchandising experience or related qualification.

• Experience in interiors would be desirable.

• Suitable candidates should have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.

• Must have excellent listening and communication skills along with the ability to work independently and with a team.

• The role will be Monday to Friday but may involve occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the business.
