Job summary

Murphy Home is seeking a Visual Merchandiser in Ireland to create engaging in-store displays and uphold our merchandising standards across furniture stores. You will design layouts, arrange furniture and accessories, and bring a creative flair to product presentation.

The role reports to the VM Manager, is full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work, and offers €14.15 per hour plus performance bonuses. Based in Newbridge/Sandyford areas, joining a leading furniture retailer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year visual merchandising experience or related qualification.
• Experience in interiors desirable.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic, professional presentation, and solid customer service skills.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to work independently and with a team.
• Role is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store by coordinating furniture and accessory placement in accordance with our standards, organize and implement floor moves.
• Partner with the Store Manager and VM Manager to lead the flow of furniture and accessory products to the sales areas.
• Organizing, supervising, and checking the product in every section of the store
• Be creative, innovative, and imaginative through execution of Visual Merchandising
• Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner
• Produce quality work in a consistent, timely, and organized manner
• Update/maintain store as directed by new product introduction and seasonal changes
• Adjust lighting as needed throughout showroom display
• Assist with special events and promotions
• Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct periodic physical inventories of furniture and accessories.
• Develop, create, and implement in-store displays and other store visuals.
• Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to produce creative and artistic in-store displays. Constantly conceptualize new and refresh store design ideas.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment by creating an inviting and visually appealing environment for our customers.
• Install seasonal and promotional POS
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
