Job summary

Murphy Home is seeking a Visual Merchandiser in Sandyford, Co. Dublin to design layouts of merchandise displays and maintain visual standards across the store network. You will contribute a unique visual flair to create compelling customer experiences.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in visual merchandising (interiors desirable). You will work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts, earning €14.15 per hour plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year visual merchandising experience or related qualification.
• Experience in interiors would be desirable.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and professional presentation.
• Excellent communication skills and solid customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Role Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store per standards; organize and implement floor moves.
• Partner with Store Manager and VM Manager to lead furniture and accessory flow to sales areas.
• Organize, supervise and check product in every section of the store.
• Be creative and imaginative through execution of Visual Merchandising.
• Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner.
• Produce quality work in a timely and organized manner.
• Update/maintain store per new product introductions and seasonal changes.
• Adjust lighting as needed in showroom displays.
• Assist with special events and promotions.
• Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct inventories.
• Develop and implement in-store displays and store visuals.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager on store design ideas.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming store environment for customers.
• Install seasonal and promotional POS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store by coordinating furniture and accessory placement in accordance with our standards, organize and implement floor moves
• Partner with the Store Manager and VM Manager to lead the flow of furniture and accessory products to the sales areas.
• Organizing, supervising, and checking the product in every section of the store
• Be creative, innovative, and imaginative through execution of Visual Merchandising
• Maintain and present visual displays in an influential manner
• Produce quality work in a consistent, timely, and organized manner
• Update/maintain store as directed by new product introduction and seasonal changes
• Adjust lighting as needed throughout showroom display
• Assist with special events and promotions
• Coordinate placement of new merchandise and conduct periodic physical inventories of furniture and accessories.
• Develop, create, and implement in-store displays and other store visuals.
• Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to produce creative and artistic in-store displays. Constantly conceptualize new and refresh store design ideas.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment by creating an inviting and visually appealing environment for our customers.
• Install seasonal and promotional POS
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years visual merchandising experience or related qualification.
• Experience in interiors would be desirable.
• Suitable candidates should have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.
• Must have excellent listening and communication skills along with the ability to work independently and with a team.
• The role will be Monday to Friday but may involve occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the business.
