Job summary

Ark Vets Galway is seeking an experienced front-of-house receptionist to join our warm, busy practice. You’ll greet clients and their pets, book appointments, process payments, and keep the reception area organized while supporting the team with friendly, professional service.

The role offers a full-time, Monday–Friday pattern with occasional Saturdays, training provided, and a welcoming culture focused on patient care and teamwork in a modern clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-d desk or reception role is preferred.
• Ability to greet clients and their pets in a friendly, professional manner.
• Comfort with handling payments and using IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets and manage appointment bookings.
• Answer calls and handle enquiries while maintaining a tidy reception area.
• Process payments and support team with administrative tasks.
