Job summary

Kearys Motor Group is seeking a professional Technician to join the team at Kearys Hyundai & BYD, Kinsale Road Roundabout. You will perform repairs, servicing and maintenance on vehicles, while ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a qualified motor technician, a full clean driving licence, and the ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative. Training and development are provided within our award‑winning aftersales department.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle service and maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop skill levels in repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are handled carefully during service/repair.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
• Keep the workshop tidy and safe.
• Advise on additional work for vans/commercials during service.
• Be prepared to work overtime with reasonable notice.
• Utilise tools and equipment to improve service levels and workshop efficiency.
• Maintain current product knowledge and read service bulletins.
