Job summary

Kearys Motor Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join the Hyundai & BYD team at the Kinsale Road Roundabout location. You will work with a growing, dynamic team and progress through a 4-year apprenticeship while developing skills in vehicle repair, service and maintenance.

The role requires a strong team player with excellent communication, a positive attitude, and self-motivation. Full training and development are provided within a supportive dealer network.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and self-motivation.
• Apprenticeship spans multiple phases over 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle vehicles with care during repair or service.
• Develop skills in repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
• Utilise tools, service test equipment and training to improve service levels.
• Attend internal and external training courses as directed by management.
• Keep the workshop tidy and safe at all times.
• Advise the Workshop Foreman or Service Adviser of additional work needed.
