Job summary

Mater Private Network in Dublin is seeking a motivated Vascular Physiologist to join the vascular department on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will perform vascular laboratory examinations and clinical evaluations at a level appropriate to a basic grade physiologist, and support daily laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement from TU Dublin or DIT.
• Equivalent Level 8 scientific qualification accepted per IICMP.
• MPPM qualification from DIT for candidates qualified in or before 2005.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular laboratory examinations and clinical evaluations at a basic grade level.
• Assist with the daily operations of the vascular laboratory.
• Maintain high standards of medical ethics at all times.

Education

BSc in Clinical Measurement (TU Dublin or DIT)

Equivalent Level 8 scientific qualification

MPPM (Dublin Institute of Technology) for those qualified pre-2005

Vascular Physiologist.

The Mater Private Network are looking for a highly motivated Physiologist to join the vascular department.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Purpose of post:

To perform all required Vascular Laboratory examinations and clinical evaluations at a technical level appropriate to a basic grade vascular physiologist. To assist with the daily operations of the vascular laboratory and maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times.

To actively participate in an ongoing training programme for a basic grade vascular physiologist as determined by the Chief 2 Vascular Physiologist. Maintain a logbook appropriate for this training.

Essential Statutory Qualifications & Experience:

• Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.
• Or Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP).
• Or if qualified in or prior to 2005 Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology
