Your Key Responsibilities
- Support energy and utility companies across the value chain in technical, strategic, or technology roles.
- Lead initiatives in strategy & business development, program management, business architecture, planning and implementation, investment planning and economic valuation, and energy market design.

Skills And Attributes For Success
- Market & Trading Expertise
- Demonstrable experience or strong understanding of ISEM trading activities, including DAM, IDM, BM, and Capacity Market participation.
- Understanding of bidding strategies, trading optimisation, and commercial risk management in electricity markets.
- Market Design & Reform Knowledge
- Experience or exposure to market design, rule changes, and consultation processes within ISEM or European markets.
- Familiarity with upcoming market reforms, including evolving electricity market structures, flexibility markets, and price signal changes.
- Regulatory Understanding
- Broad knowledge of energy market regulations, including SEMO rules, REMIT, and EU energy policy frameworks (e.g., Clean Energy Package).
- Experience supporting or interpreting regulatory submissions, consultations, or compliance requirements.
- System Services & Flexibility
- Understanding of current and future system service frameworks, including ancillary services, grid stability, and flexibility markets.
- Awareness of how renewables, storage, and demand‑side response interact with system services and market signals.
- Analytical & Consulting Skills
- Strong analytical capability, with experience in market modelling, forecasting, or data analysis.
- Ability to translate complex market and regulatory concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Experience delivering client‑facing advisory or consulting work is highly desirable but not essential.
