GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced UI/UX Test Analyst for an 11-month contract in Dublin. The role focuses on UI/UX and web application testing, ensuring designs are accurate, accessible, and performant.

You will work closely with UX/UI designers and frontend teams to verify visuals align with approved specifications. This mid-level QA position emphasizes usability, cross-browser testing, and WCAG compliance, with a hybrid onsite model (2-3 days per week in Dublin).

UI/UX Test Analyst - Contract

Location: Dublin 18 - Hybrid
Working Model: 2-3 days onsite per week
Contract: 11 Months
Daily Rate: €180-€210 per day

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Test Analyst to join a high-profile technology environment on an 11-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level QA professional who combines strong web application testing experience with a genuine eye for user experience, accessibility and visual quality.

You will work closely with UX/UI designers and front-end development teams, ensuring digital experiences not only function correctly but are intuitive, responsive, accessible and accurately aligned with approved designs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform UI/UX, functional and usability testing across web applications.
• Validate implemented screens against approved UX/UI designs and specifications.
• Test applications across different browsers, devices and screen sizes.
• Identify visual inconsistencies, usability issues and functional defects.
• Perform testing against WCAG accessibility standards.
• Document, track and manage defects using Jira or similar test/defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers and wider project teams.
• Produce clear testing documentation and communicate issues effectively to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Relevant experience within UI/UX testing, functional testing or Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and usability testing.
• Hands‑on experience testing web applications.
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser testing.
• Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when comparing developed interfaces against designs.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with design platforms such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience using browser developer tools.
• Exposure to UI automation or visual regression testing tools.
• Previous experience working closely with UX/UI designers and front-end development teams.
