Job summary

CameraMatics LLC is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our SaaS platform across web, mobile, and API services. You will develop manual and automated tests, collaborate with developers and product teams, and drive end-to-end testing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The role requires experience across web and mobile apps, strong automation skills, and a proactive mindset to improve QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in software QA engineering across web and mobile apps.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium).
• API/integration testing experience including REST/JSON authentication.
• Strong functional, integration, system, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
• Proficiency with Jira, Git, Xray, Postman.
• Familiar with at least one programming/scripting language (Python/JS/Java).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with methodical testing approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset to drive QA improvements.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

As a QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality, reliability and usability of our SaaS platform across web, mobile and API services.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements to develop manual and automation tests for web apps, mobile apps and APIs.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features, identify risks and build quality into the development process.
• Develop and maintain reliable automated test suites for functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate and execute automated tests within a CI/CD environment.
• Perform manual and automated testing on new releases to ensure they meet defined quality standards.
• Investigate test failures and defects and provide clear, meaningful bug reports.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation and QA processes.

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in software QA engineering, testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Strong demonstrable test automation experience using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium or other similar tools.
• Experience with API and integration testing, including REST APIs, JSON and authentication.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, system, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience of working in an agile/scrum development environment.
• Proficiency in QA and software development tools including Jira, Git, Xray and Postman.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with a disciplined and methodical approach to testing.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset that is always looking to drive innovation and efficiencies in the QA process

Advantageous

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with QA/test processes for embedded devices
• Performance/load testing experience using JMeter or similar tools.
