Job summary

The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) invites applications for a Counsellor, Workplace Counselling & Support Service. The role provides trauma-informed counselling and psychosocial support to individuals affected by workplace discrimination and harassment, delivered across multiple channels.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to programme development, outreach, research and stakeholder engagement while maintaining client confidentiality and high

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Degree in Counselling from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in counselling.
  • Experience supporting survivors of trauma, abuse, violence or other complex psychosocial issues.
  • Experience in individual counselling, risk assessment, case management and crisis intervention.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducation programmes, group work or community outreach is an advantage.
  • Singaporean and PR only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, trauma-informed counselling to clients experiencing workplace discrimination and harassment.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, risk assessments and safety planning where appropriate.
  • Develop, implement and review client care and intervention plans based on clients' needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Maintain an active counselling caseload, including clients with complex needs.
  • Deliver counselling services through multiple platforms (face-to-face, telephone, text-based and online).
  • Provide crisis intervention and follow-up support as required.
  • Facilitate referrals to relevant agencies and community resources.
