Job summary

GLOBAL INTEGRATED SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED seeks a Transport Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Clonshaugh, Dublin 17. You will drive safety, performance and service targets, while coordinating recruitment, inductions and disciplinary processes.

The role requires 2 years of transport supervision experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, fleet-focused mindset. 10-hour shifts, Sundays to Wednesdays, with some flexibility to support the team.

Qualifications

• CPC certification desirable.

Although flexibility is required to support the team.What you'll be doingReporting into the Transport Operations Manager you will assist with a variety of tasks that not only add value to the operation but ensures a best-in-class transport service. You will be responsible for:Maintaining a safe and friendly working environment for all employees, agencies and subcontractorsOwn the recruitment, induction, absence management, well-being meetings and 1:1 process, including disciplinaries, grievances and investigations.Ensuring effective communication within the transport teams through meetings and briefings.Responsible for the delivery of operational KPIs, maintaining and improving performance levels to maximise the efficiency of the operation in line with service delivery targets.In addition, you will support the transport operations managers and team with any additional tasks as and when required.What we're looking forTo be successful in your application you will have proven transport supervisory or managerial experience, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG environment and be knowledgable in transport rules, regulations, compliance and systems.
