Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Transaction Services team in Dublin, operating in a hybrid model. This role focuses on deal advisory, financial analysis, and collaboration with client and target teams to drive successful outcomes.

You will work on projects of varying complexity, mentor juniors, and contribute to delivering insights that support strategic decisions. The role offers ongoing development via our Business School and a path to progression.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) with training completed in an accountancy practice.
• Keen interest in deal advisory and M&A activity.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre‑requisite for this role.

Responsibilities

• Interaction with client and target teams on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Delivery of projects and participation in work streams of larger more complex projects.
• Financial analysis, report writing and presentation of findings and recommendations to clients.
• Working alongside and developing junior colleagues.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our own service delivery and practice.

Your team:

KPMG Transactions Services is the leading firm in Ireland in assisting clients in areas including financial, tax and commercial due diligence, pre and post deal evaluation, sell‑side assistance, financing and refinancing assistance, contractual discussions and integration. We assist our clients with capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, class 1 transactions, reverse takeovers and fundraisings.

We work on project-type engagements lasting from several weeks to several months, working extensively with significant corporates, domestic and international banks, other financial institutions, private equity and other investment funds offering team members the widest exposure to acquisition and financing related activity.
