Fruition Group Ireland in Bray is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Bray office. You’ll recruit for our existing clients in tech, building your own network of candidates and clients from day one. The role is mainly candidate-focused, covering sourcing, headhunting, interviewing and offers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with confidence.
• Attention to detail, especially data entry and candidate documentation.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Proactive and independent thinker who can multitask and prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Search for suitable tech candidates matching client requirements.
• Head hunt and network on LinkedIn, GitHub and Stack Overflow.
• Write and post job adverts.
• Interview candidates by phone to assess fit for roles.
• Arrange interviews and maintain candidate contact throughout.
• Make offers and handle rejections professionally.
• Take references and collate supporting documents.
• Build a strong talent pipeline through long-term relationships.
• Develop relationships with existing and future clients.
• Attend client meetings to explore new opportunities.
• Negotiate fees and terms of engagement.
• Use social media to build your personal brand.
• Keep accurate records on our CRM.
• Stay updated with tech industry trends.

The role

Applications are now open for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Bray office. Whether you're a graduate looking to kick-start your career, you've got around a year's experience in a similar role, or you've come from Sales, Retail, Hospitality, Customer Service, Events, Marketing or a similar people-facing background, we want to hear from you!

You’ll join our well-established Bray team, reporting into our Directors, some of Ireland's biggest billers, who'll give you direct access to real experience and mentoring. You’ll recruit for our existing clients, including some of the biggest brands in Irish tech, building your own network of candidates and clients from day one.

No two days are the same. The role is mostly candidate focused, covering sourcing through headhunting and networking, interviewing, and making offers, plus more!

Working in recruitment isn't for the faint hearted. It's fast paced, it's a bit of a rollercoaster, and it rewards people with real drive. If you're ambitious, money motivated and want exposure to sales, marketing, events and customer service all in one job, this is a great place to start.

Key responsibilities:

• Searching for suitable tech candidates who match our clients' requirements
• Headhunting and networking on platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub and Stack Overflow
• Writing and posting job adverts
• Interviewing candidates by phone to assess suitability for specific roles

What we need from you:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with confidence
• Strong attention to detail, especially with data entry and candidate documentation
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Proactive and independent thinker who can multitask and prioritise
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop, strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, target driven environment
• Responds well to feedback and training
• Punctual, dependable and committed to delivering results
• Internship or part-time experience in an office, sales, customer service, marketing or events role is a bonus but not essential
• An interest in or understanding of the recruitment process
