Job summary

William Fry is seeking a Learning & Development Manager (Trainees) to join an award-winning L&D team in Dublin. You will report to the Director of Professional Development and Trainee Partner and shape the learning strategy for trainee solicitors.

You will design and implement learning programmes, lead advanced elective curricula in partnership with the Law Society of Ireland, coach trainees and deliver both classroom and online/hybrid learning, while monitoring impact and aligning with the

Qualifications

Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Qualified Lawyer.
Accredited performance coaching qualification or equivalent.
Strong teaching methodologies and tools knowledge.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Strong communicator who can engage with trainees.
Proactive, autonomous problem-solver with commitment to development.
Experience with learning technologies and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Design learning strategies and programmes tailored to trainee lawyers.
Lead curriculum for advanced elective programmes in partnership with the Law Society of Ireland.
Coach, mentor and support trainees' professional development.
Deliver a mix of classroom and online/hybrid learning.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as needed.
Collaborate with department heads to align learning with firm goals.
Stay abreast of trends in legal education and apply best practices.
