Job summary

Howdens Joinery is the UK’s No1 Trade Kitchen Supplier seeking a Business Developer in Ireland. You’ll grow the local depot by engaging trade customers, generating leads, and arranging appointments, using a proactive, target-driven approach.

You’ll work with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives to convert conversations into opportunities and revenue, while delivering excellent service and building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across face-to-face and phone conversations.
• Ability to build relationships and turn conversations into opportunities.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on driving sales and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Support administration, including invoicing and depot tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to help hit depot targets and deliver great service.
