• Proven experience in business development/marketing within construction or joinery sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Motivated, organised, and able to take initiative to achieve results.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business development strategy to grow market share and profitability.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to create go-to-market plans and strategic partnerships.
• Identify opportunities, build pipelines, and secure contracts in target markets.
• Build relationships with architects, designers, developers, and contractors.
• Represent Truwood at trade fairs and networking events in Ireland and the UK.
• Report KPIs, forecasts and new opportunities to management.
• Develop CPD programme and organise CPD lunches with relevant architects and interior designers.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
