We are currently recruiting for an experienced and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant to join a busy team in Athlone .

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the trade counter in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide advice and assistance on products
• Process customer orders and sales accurately
• Handle cash and card transactions
• Prepare orders for collection
• Maintain stock levels and keep the trade counter organised
• Assist with stock deliveries and replenishment
• Build strong relationships with regular trade customers

What We ' re Looking For

• Previous trade counter, hardware, builders' merchant, retail or similar experience is an advantage
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working as part of a busy team Reliable , hardworking and willing to learn
