Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Trade Counter Sales Assistant / Warehouse Operative in County Dublin. The role combines trade counter customer service, administration, and warehouse duties to support a busy sales team.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, customer-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Forklift licences are required. Standard hours are Monday to Friday with monthly pay.

A successful and established supplier of roofing and building materials to the construction industry is seeking a Trade Counter Sales Assistant / Warehouse Operative to join its team.

The Role

This is a varied and busy position combining trade counter, customer service, administration and warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will work at the front desk, dealing directly with customers and supporting the wider sales team, while also carrying out warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Counter

• Meet and greet customers at the trade counter.
• Sell products directly to customers.
• Deal with sales enquiries and orders by telephone and email.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Support sales representatives working on the road.
• Assist with stock control.
• Carry out general office administration.

Warehouse Operations

• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Pick orders for customer collections and deliveries.
• Operate counterbalance and high-reach forklift trucks.
• Maintain up-to-date licences for both forklift types.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
