Lisnabrin Engineering Ltd in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, is seeking a CNC Machinist / Toolmaker. The role supports peak trading period demands with an August/September 2026 start, contributing to the manufacture and improvement of products and fixtures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures high-quality outputs.
You will work with 3–5 axis CNC machines, program development, and routine machine maintenance. A strong precision focus and proficiency with CAD/CAM tools are essential.
Location: This role is based on the company premises in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Duration: Permanent, Full Time / Shift Work 39-hour week Monday – Friday [Days : Mon – Fri / Evenings : Mon – Thurs]
Remuneration: Dependant on Experience €40000 – €55000 per annum

Due to forecast increases in workload during our peak trading period, Lisnabrin Engineering Ltd is inviting applications for the position of CNC Machinist / Toolmaker. This role is being recruited to support the company’s operational requirements during an expected increase in activity in Q4 2026.The successful candidate will commence in August/September 2026 and will support the ongoing needs of the business during this busy period.
As a CNC Machinist / Toolmaker at Lisnabrin Engineering, your role will be critical in the manufacture and building of new products and improving existing ones, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to deliver high quality products and services to its customers.
Key accountabilities will include the machining of new parts and fixtures, development of CNC programs with the aid of CAM software (Hypermill), machine and tool setup, liaising with other team members, and providing feedback and support as needed.
