Job summary

Glennon Brothers in Ireland is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the timber frame factory. You will oversee production operations, ensure targets are met, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to Production Manager, you will manage a team, coordinate attendance, training, and quality control, and ensure health and safety and timely documentation across shifts. This role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in timber frame manufacturing or similar production environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Commitment to quality and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities across the timber frame factory.
• Maximise throughput and efficiency of materials and labour.
• Direct responsibility for people management of the team – recruitment, onboarding, training, development and performance management.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, and general workforce discipline.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team.
• Verify all work is carried out in line with health & safety requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with established quality control standards through regular checks and monitoring.
• Oversee the accuracy of documentation associated with timber frame manufacturing and loading.
• Promote a culture of right-first-time quality across the team.
• Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed and to resolve issues efficiently.
