Job summary

Trim Castle Hotel is seeking a Thermal Supervisor to join our Thermal Rooftop team. You will supervise the thermal area to maintain cleanliness, ambiance and safety, while supporting the Thermal Manager in training and coordinating staff.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of sauna, steam room, and hot tub maintenance, plus strong customer service and flexible scheduling to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year experience in a supervisory role within a spa or wellness facility.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Knowledge of thermal area operations, including sauna, steam room, and hot tub maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the thermal area meets the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance.
• Assist the Thermal Manager with training and motivation of team to provide excellent service.
• Help foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Assist with scheduling of thermal area services to accommodate guest preferences and maintain optimal occupancy.
• Address guest concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Monitor and maintain equipment in the thermal area to ensure safety and functionality.
• Provide cover for Thermal Manager and assist with rosters when required.
• Enforce safety protocols and standards in the thermal area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Thermal Supervisor to join our Thermal Rooftop team.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:

• Ensure the thermal area meets the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance
• Assist the Thermal Manager with training and motivation of team to provide excellent service
• Help to foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Assist with scheduling of thermal area services to accommodate guest preferences and maintain optimal occupancy
• Address guest concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
• Monitor and maintain equipment in the thermal area to ensure safety and functionality
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or issues promptlyAssist Thermal Manager in the implementation and enforcement of Thermal policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
• In conjunction with Thermal Manager, check inventory of supplies for the thermal area, including towels, robes, and amenities
• Ensure an adequate supply of necessary items
• Provide cover for Thermal Manager and assist with rosters when required
• Enforce safety protocols and standards in the thermal area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards
• Provide ongoing training to thermal area staff on service standards, product knowledge, and safety procedures
