Avista invites applications for a Therapy Assistant (MDT) at St. Vincent’s Centre, Limerick.

This is a permanent full-time role, 39 hours per week, within a person-centred, rights-based organisation serving adults and children with disabilities. The position offers a salary of €36,651–€45,939, subject to relevant public sector experience, and requires driving licence, QQI Level 5 in healthcare, and fluent English.

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week).

Salary: €36,651 - €45,939

• Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Essential:

• Full FETAC 5 QQI award healthcare qualification
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence and use of a car is Essential.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable:

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork
• Ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Have an interest and experience in working with Adult with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities (with or without a diagnosis of autism) and/or behaviours that challenge.
• Possess Level 1 behavioral competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the job description
