Job summary

Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation delivering Day, Residential and Respite supports in Limerick, North Tipperary and Dublin. We are seeking a Therapy Assistant (MDT) at St.

Vincent’s Centre, Limerick, with salary subject to relevant Public Sector experience. Applicants must hold a Full FETAC 5 QQI in Healthcare Support, be proficient in English, have a full clean manual Irish driving licence with use of a car.

REF:

• Full FETAC 5 QQI award healthcare qualification

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork
• Ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Have an interest and experience in working with Adult with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities(with or without a diagnosis of autism) and/or behaviours that challenge.
• Possess Level 1 behavioral competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the job description
