Job summary

Avoca Malahide is seeking a Retail Assistant for a temporary, part-time role with an immediate start. The position is on-site at our Malahide store in Co.

Dublin, Ireland, and involves delivering high standards of customer service, handling POS, stock replenishment, and maintaining Avoca brand standards. You will work with a friendly team, meet sales targets, assist customers via in-person, phone and email inquiries, and support opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
• Point of Sales system – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
• Advising & serving customers.
• Promoting store cards or special offers.
• Meet pre-determined sales targets.
• Making sure the store remains tidy.
