Lex Consultancy in Dublin 18 is seeking a temporary Communications Officer to join the team for 9 months. You’ll cover events, webinars, press, podcasts, social media, visits and administration, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and communications outputs.

You will contribute to CRM improvements, reporting and branding initiatives, including tender processes where required, and operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related area.
  • Experience in EU institutions or public sector desirable.
  • Experience supporting reporting, coordination or delivery processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional EU language (French preferred) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate cross-team projects and initiatives, ensuring follow-up and delivery of actions.
  • Translate complex information into clear summaries; draft emails, briefing notes and correspondence in good English.
  • Prepare polished PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
  • Support CRM development, data quality and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to visual identity and branding tenders with stakeholder input.
  • Assist with governance, reporting, and monitoring requirements.
  • Provide flexible support across events, visits, webinars and related activities.

Salary:€61,671 Pro Rata
Location:Hybrid role in Dublin 18 (Onsite 2 days per week)

About the Role:

Our client, a research body based in Dublin 18, are seeking a temporary Communications Officer to join their dynamic team.
You’ll be covering events, webinars, press, podcasts, social media, visits and administration. The ideal candidate will provide coordination and flexible delivery support across all areas, with a strong focus on, stakeholder engagement and communications outputs along with supporting the optimisation of the CRM system.
Furthermore, you will contribute to the preparation of new visual identity and branding initiatives, including related tender processes where required. The successful candidate will operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and judgement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and coordinate cross-team projects and initiatives, ensuring follow-up and delivery of actions.
  • Translate complex or fast-moving information into clear, structured summaries and briefings. Draft and refine high-quality written materials including emails, briefing notes and internal/external correspondence in excellent English.
  • Prepare clear, polished and visually strong PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
  • Support the development of CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365) including data quality, targeting and segmentation and reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of visual identity and branding tenders, including stakeholder input and project support.
  • Contribute to reporting, monitoring and governance requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide flexible support across events, visits, webinars and related activities, as required, helping ensure delivery of organisational priorities
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Post-secondary education and qualification in a related area.
  • Experience in an EU institution, international organisation or public sector multi-cultural environment desirable.
  • Experience supporting reporting, coordination or delivery processes.
  • Experience supporting procurement or tender processes, particularly in communications, branding or visual identity desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Desired: proficiency in at least one other EU language, ideally French.
