Job summary

Circet Ireland is hiring an experienced Telecom Copper Jointer X5 for work in Dublin on a fixed-term 6-month contract. The role involves rodding/roping of underground ducts, reading job packs and BT duct diagrams, and travelling between exchange locations.

You will operate in all weather and adhere to safety standards. Required qualifications include NRSWA Street Works Unit 2, copper network knowledge, and a full driving licence; First Aid/Manual Handling are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous telecom experience and understanding of copper networks.
• First Aid and Manual Handling knowledge.
• Hold a valid NRSWA Street Works Operative License Unit 2.
• Overhead, jointing and cable accreditation modules (Desirable).
• CRB check (Desirable).
• Full driving license.
• NOPS registration.
• IPAF certificate (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Test rodding and roping of UG ducts.
• Identify traffic management requirements and tree cutting requirements if works are OH.
• Produce SLDs on completion of tasks.
• Read and understand Microsoft Word/Excel/PDF-based Job Packs and BT Duct diagrams.
• Work in confined spaces and outdoors in all weathers.
• Travel to and from exchange locations on completion of works.
• Work to PON completion deadlines to meet operational requirements.
• Attend accredited training courses if required.

We are hiring! Circet Ireland are looking for experienced Jointers and Copper Jointers to join the team based in Ireland - This is a 6-month FTC Working with Circet Circet Ireland & UK have built an ever growing portfolio of specialist services. Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Previous Telecom experience & good understanding of the copper network
• First Aid and Manual Handling
• Hold a valid NRSWA Street works Operative License Unit 2
• Hold overhead, jointing and cable accreditation modules (Desirable)
• Basic CRB Check less than 3 months old (Desirable)
• Full Driving License
• NOPS Registration
• IPAF Certificate Cherry Picker (Desirable)
