Job summary

evoke is seeking a TechOps leader to steer the reliability, security and day-to-day operation of production systems and internal technology services. The role collaborates closely with engineering and other tech teams to ensure platforms remain available, resilient and scalable.

You will lead the TechOps team, own operations, drive availability, automation and security controls, and support disaster recovery planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technology operations, infrastructure or similar roles.
• Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
• Experience with highly available production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, VMware and high-availability setups.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and security controls.
• Experience with monitoring, automation and incident response.
• Familiarity with PCI/ISO27001 information security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the TechOps team, including recruitment and performance management.
• Own day-to-day operation of production systems and workplace technology.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring and timely issue resolution.
• Support 24/7 operational capabilities when required.
• Maintain technology standards, governance and controls.
• Lead information security activities and governance.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Manage vendors, SLAs and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and scalability.
• Drive automation and documentation to improve efficiency.
