Multi-Color Corporation, Castlebar (MCC) is seeking a Technical Team Lead to join the team on a rotating shift pattern at Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

The role involves providing direction on the production floor, coordinating daily plans and ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Quality policies. The Technical Team Lead will lead troubleshooting on folding machines across glue systems, drive continuous improvement with the Shift Manager and ensure equipment and resources are fully utilized while

Qualifications

• Competent mechanical skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of production equipment.
• Print industry experience is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication; computer literate.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, training and direction on the production floor.
• Communicate the daily production plan.
• Troubleshoot folding machines across various glue systems.
• Resolve issues with production equipment.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Quality policies are adhered to.
• Record/report on daily production targets and outcomes.
• Work with the Shift Manager on Continuous Improvement activities.

Technical Team Lead

Castlebar, Co. Mayo

At Multi-Color Corporation, Castlebar (MCC) we are currently seeking a Technical Team Lead to join our team.This position is on a rotating2-cycle shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities Include:

The Technical Team Lead will provide support, training and direction on the production floor i.e., direct product to various functions. They will communicate the daily production plan, troubleshoot various folding machines across various glue systems, and resolve issues with the production equipment, ensure Health & Safety and Quality policies and systems are adhered to. The Technical Team Leader must ensure the planned production targets are met daily and record/report on same. The Technical Team Leader with the Shift Manager must ensure that the machines and additional resources are fully utilised. They will work with the Shift Manager on Continuous Improvement activities. They will be responsible for equipment maintenance and facility care. The Technical Team Lead must ensure all machines are maintained at a high standard and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule and executing same.

Requirements:

Competent mechanical skills, Proven track record in problem solving, Knowledge of production equipment, Print Industry experience is desired, Team player with efficient oral and written communication skills and Computer literate, self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. Minimum qualification of Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
