Job summary

MCC in Castlebar is seeking a reliable General Operator for a nights pattern. The role involves operating folding machines, managing glue systems, and maintaining safety and quality standards on a shift that runs Sunday 11pm-6am and Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am.

You will receive full training and development, with a competitive shift premium and a supportive team environment. Basic English, numeracy and teamwork are essential to succeed in this fast-paced factory setting.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Basic numeracy for counts, measurements and quality checks.
• Good written and spoken English to follow instructions and communicate with team.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate folding and glue systems on various machines and monitor quality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Ensure production conforms to customer specifications and quality standards.

General Operator (Nights)

At Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) we are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Operator to join our team!

This position is on a night pattern (Sunday 11pm-6am and Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating various format folding machines including miniature, outsert and large format folding machines, working with various glue systems across machines, performing scheduled maintenance and following safety procedure and quality SOP’s , ensuring customer specifications are met.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, basic numeracy, effective communication skills, ability to read, understand and follow written instructions, good English (written and oral), and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
