We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to coordinate and support evening shift manufacturing operations. This role combines hands‑on production support with team leadership, safety ownership, training, KPI management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and coordinate team members across all manufacturing activities within production cells.
Champion safety and act as the first point of contact for team members on the evening shift.
Monitor on‑time delivery performance and departmental KPIs.
Support production activities including electronic assembly, testing, soldering, and light mechanical assembly.
Ensure production orders are completed on schedule and ready for customer dispatch.
Lead daily team huddles and communicate production and material updates.
Support inventory counts and materials management activities.
Work closely with customer service teams regarding delivery improvements and order issues.
Coordinate training activities, maintain training records, and drive cross‑training initiatives.
Compile KPI data for management review and maintain training matrices.
Support 6S, continuous improvement programs, audits, shift handovers, and quality initiatives.
Drive yield improvements, process enhancements, and timely management of non‑conforming materials.
Leaving Certificate required; third-level qualification advantageous.
1-2 years experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
Knowledge of soldering & electronic components
Strong coordination, planning, and organisational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate others.
Strong delegation and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
