Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) in Castlebar is seeking a Technical Team Lead to guide the production floor on a rotating shift pattern. You will direct daily production plans, troubleshoot folding machines, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication. A competitive shift premium and pension scheme are offered as part of MCC's benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Strong problem solving ability demonstrated on production floor.
• Knowledge of managing production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, training and direction on the production floor.
• Communicate daily production plan and troubleshoot folding machines across glue systems.
• Resolve production equipment issues and ensure Health & Safety and Quality policies are followed.
• Ensure production targets are met daily and report on progress.
• Collaborate with Shift Manager on machine utilization and continuous improvement.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and facility care, including preventative maintenance.
