Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technical Service Manager to join our client’s growing team in Dublin 15. This role combines hands-on M&E leadership with strategic maintenance program development.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to ensure projects run smoothly on site and in-office, while mentoring a multidisciplinary technical services team for higher productivity.

Qualifications

• 3rd level education in Engineering or related field, or a Plumbing/ Electrical trade certificate is compulsory.
• Strong knowledge of M&E services, in particular HVAC, district heating and plumbing.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for M&E technical queries within the company.
• Developing and implementing maintenance programs and procedures to ensure optimal performance of M&E systems.
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects and all technical issues are dealt with smoothly.
• Assisting engineers and clients on site when required
• Leading, mentoring, and evaluating the technical services team to enhance skillsets and productivity.
