Job summary

Stelfox is partnering with a Global Content Media provider to establish a new greenfield AI engineering team in Dublin. The Technical Program Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects, coordinating with engineering and product teams to plan sprints, releases and cross-team dependencies.

You will build detailed roadmaps, manage risks, and report progress to senior leadership, acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex technical programs (AI, Data, Platform engineering).
• Strong understanding of AI/ML data science lifecycle (model experimentation, deployment, evaluation).
• Experience supporting delivery for software engineering teams (AI/ML/Data/Platform).
• Familiar with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

Stelfox is partnering with a Global Content Media provider who are in the process of establishing a new greenfield AI engineering team in Dublin as part of a wider initiative to drive new AI-native products from PoC into production to drive commercial value & impact across the wider organisation.

As part of this new team, we are hiring a Technical Program Manager who can work closely with the engineering & product teams to ensure effective planning and delivery of these new AI/ML based solutions when bridging the gap with business/commercial stakeholders.

Role overview:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex AI/platform programs.
• Partner with engineering leads/team to plan and track sprints, releases and cross-team dependencies.
• Build detailed delivery plans, roadmaps and status reporting for senior leadership stakeholders.
• Identify risks, trade-offs, and delivery constraints.
• Be a facilitator between engineering, product, design and R&D.
• Continuous improvement in delivery practices, tools and agile processes.
• Ensure clear documentation, accountability and visibility of program progress.

Preferred experience:

• Experience delivering complex technical programs (AI, Data, Platform engineering or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of AI/ML/Data Science development lifecycle (model experimentation, deployment, evaluation etc).
• Experience supporting delivery for software engineering teams (AI/ML/Data/Platform etc)
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools like Jira, confluence.
• Ability to translate and convey technical concepts/details into clear business updates.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a startup / scale-up or fast paced greenfield project.
• Background in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years experience in a Tech Program / Tech Project or tech delivery type role.

This new team is a start-up function operating within a global enterprise organisation, so the early part of this role is supporting the engineering team(s) in getting a structure project management & delivery approach in place and they take various AI initiatives from PoC stage into a launch product/solution provide value to the business.
