Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a Manager in the M&A team to lead technical accounting analysis, financial diligence, and post-close integration for acquisitions. The role collaborates with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, Tax, Employee Success and Operations to evaluate transactions and ensure accurate reporting across acquired entities.

You will apply strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge, drive due diligence, assist with purchase price allocations, and help implement scalable integration plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA (or equivalent) required.
• 6–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with business combinations and due diligence.
• Experience in multinational, multi-currency environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• ERP or system integrations experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical accounting research and documentation for business combinations and fair value measurements.
• Support purchase price allocations and opening balance sheets.
• Analyze stock-based compensation, foreign currency, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Prepare audit-ready memos and support audit requests, including US GAAP to Statutory adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, local standards and SEC rules.
• Lead financial due diligence to identify risks and integration challenges.
• Provide accounting input into deal structuring and purchase agreements.
• Lead or support integration tasks across chart of accounts, close processes, and policy harmonization.
• Develop scalable controls for new acquisitions and regional entities.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with corporate and regional teams.
